How much does a private driver cost in Marrakech?
A full-day private driver typically costs from 800 MAD (about 75 EUR) for the vehicle. This covers fuel, tolls and a full day of driving. The price is per vehicle, so it gets very reasonable for families or small groups.
Is a private driver better than a rental car?
For most visitors, yes. Driving in Morocco can be stressful — the roads outside cities are narrow, signage is limited, and parking in medinas is almost impossible. A driver handles all of that while you relax and enjoy the scenery.
Can the driver also be a guide?
Our drivers know the routes and can recommend stops, but they are not licensed guides. If you want a knowledgeable walking guide at your destination (for example at Ait Benhaddou or in the medina), we can arrange one for an additional fee.
What size vehicle do you use?
Standard bookings use a comfortable sedan (up to 3 passengers) or a minivan (up to 7). For larger groups we can arrange a minibus.
