Marrakech Getaways is an independent, Marrakech-based tour operator. We run private day trips, desert tours, guided city tours and activities ourselves — with licensed local guides, honest prices, and booking as simple as a WhatsApp message. No call centres, no middlemen, no surprises.

Marrakech is our home, not a listing on a map
We started Marrakech Getaways because travellers kept arriving with the same problem: dozens of near-identical tours online, wildly different prices, and no one honest to ask. We are the people we wished we'd had — locals who actually drive these roads, know these guides by name, and will tell you plainly which trip is worth your day.
Our team is based here in Marrakech. We grew up between the medina and the mountains, we speak the languages our guests speak, and we run our experiences ourselves rather than passing you to a stranger. When you message us, you reach a person who can answer a question about the Sahara road, the Agafay sunset or the best time to walk the souks — because we were there last week.

Who is behind Marrakech Getaways?
We are a small team of Marrakchis — guides, drivers and trip planners who live in the city and run these routes ourselves. Everything you read here comes from first-hand experience, not a call centre in another country.
Are you a licensed tour operator?
Yes. We work only with licensed, insured local guides and professional drivers, and we operate legally within Morocco. Your safety, your itinerary and your money are handled by people you can reach directly.
Do you own the tours or resell them?
We plan and operate our experiences on the ground in Marrakech with our own guides, drivers and partner camps. That is why we can tailor any trip, quote an honest total and adapt on the day — there is no middleman adding a margin.
What makes you different from a big booking site?
