Do I need a car for any of these itineraries?
Not for the city days — the Medina, Jemaa el-Fnaa and Gueliz are all walkable, with the occasional taxi between neighbourhoods. For the Atlas Mountains, the desert and the coast, a guided day trip or tour handles the transport, so you never need to drive yourself.
