Guided city & food tours in Marrakech

For a first visit, a medina walking tour to find your feet in the souks and a guided city tour for the headline monuments are the essentials. Food lovers should add a street-food-by-night tour; photographers a golden-hour photo walk; shoppers a souk tour. Private guided tours let you combine any of these your way.

Shared walking tours start from around 20 EUR (220 MAD) per person; full-day guided city tours with a car and a private guide cost more. Prices vary with group size, duration, whether it's private or shared, and which entrance fees are included. Most tours here quote an honest 'from' price and reply within a couple of hours.

Not strictly, but a first-morning guide pays for itself: the medina is a deliberately confusing maze and the souks can feel intense. A couple of hours with a licensed local gives you the history, a working mental map and the confidence to explore alone afterwards. Return visitors often skip guides once oriented.

Both are available. Small-group tours are the best value and a nice way to meet others; private tours cost more but bend entirely to your pace, interests and schedule, and are ideal for families, photographers and anyone who wants it their way. Just tell us which you'd prefer when you book.

Usually the guide and transport are included but monument and garden tickets (roughly 50–160 MAD each) are paid separately, so you only pay for the sites you enter. Bring cash in dirham, or ask us to arrange an all-inclusive private tour with tickets bundled in.
